It’s not some mystic chanting or some crazy bit of emotional hype. Let me give you a simplified version of Who the Bible says God is. Just like a human person has a soul, body, and spirit, God is also a Triune being – we were made in His image! Just like you are not three people, neither is He three gods. He just has three different “titles” that He works through, like a person as a spouse, a parent, and a friend.
Jesus came as a human to die in our place long after Adam and Eve committed treason by doing what the enemy in disguise told them to do instead of trusting in what God had already told them. This gave humanity a blood tainted by sin. Because God can’t be seen by the human eye since the treason happened, Jesus came to be the visible manifestation of the invisible God. Since He was birthed by Mary through the Spirit of God placing God’s cell in her human body supernaturally, Jesus was able to do what we never could – live a perfect life because He did not have the sinful blood of man in Him. He died as the Sacrifice to pay ALL of humanity’s sin-debt since He was the only perfect Man who could do it.
If we believe that He did that for us and tell Him that we do, then our debts are paid and we can have a relationship with God again. ALL have sinned. No matter how good a person thinks he or she is, we are born in sin because we have the blood of our earthly father in our veins, and all men have sin contaminating that blood. Jesus is the only One who could die for us since He didn’t have blood from an earthly father. The point is, what the Bible says is true, and all through history the prophecies in the Bible have been proven true and accurate. There is no creation without a Creator, there is no design without a Designer, and there is no man who will ever be good enough or powerful enough to be God.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father except by Him, because He came as God in the flesh to buy us back from His enemy, formerly the worship angel named Lucifer who betrayed God and waged war with Heaven. This traitor was who became our master when sin entered Adam’s bloodline from the enemy deceiving Eve then Adam. That means that God will not accept you unless you accept the Way He made for you to be saved by acknowledging that you are a sinner, you need the Savior, and Jesus is the One who paid your debt by His own shed blood. If you believe that, you can say this prayer to make things right with God right now, and you can begin living the life He paid for and has always wanted for you:
“Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name. I’m a sinner. I know that You sent Jesus to die in my place for my sins, and I accept what He did and ask for You to forgive me for all I’ve done. I make you the Lord of my life from this day forward. Teach me Your Ways, show me Your Will, and give me the strength to endure what I must in the days to come until You return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I’m now yours. Protect me and keep me by the power of Your Grace, Mercy, and Love through the Holy Spirit that now is in my heart (spirit) that was dead until accepting You. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!”
